Your smile was so sweetly swiped
            Right across you bearded face
Your dark eyes also grinning at me
As you looked up at me from the drive
You weren’t as tall as I expected
But you were just as sweet as I had experienced

It was late when you got here, we were both tired
We agreed on a movie, I cuddled into your chest
You smelled so nice, and your touch so comforting
You couldn’t tell but my heartbeat and breath quickened

After the movie, we went to bed
Snuggled close, our bodies intertwined
Kisses shared and caresses dared
            Going further than we’d intended

In the morning, we laid there
Nowhere to be, no cares to be had
Head on your chest, and hands playing with curly hair
Soft kisses and sweet smiles shared

After we got up, you started to work
I lounged on the couch, watching you
You had no idea how hot it was
Watching you be so productive and focused
So charming, the way you pecked at the keyboard
The way you leaned back in the chair, eyebrows scrunched thoughtfully
